JEREMY EVANS
Jeremy Evans was born on October 24th, 1987 in Monroe, LA. He attended Crossett High School and was voted All-Conference choice as a sophomore. Not long after his junior year, he was named All-State and All-League player, in addition to being voted County Player of the Year. Evans then went on to attend Western Kentucky University majoring in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in art. While attending school he played for the Kentucky Hilltoppers and was announced All-Time Leader with a field goal percentage of (63.9%), blocked shots (224), and games started (130) at Western Kentucky University. Today Evans plays for the Utah Jazz as a forward, and was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2010 NBA draft. He participated in 2013 NBA Slam Dunk Contest and gained a widespread fan base after showcasing his artistic talents. Evans is very active with the public and took part in the annual Jr. Jazz trip the last few summers (2011-13), which included spending a week on the road holding basketball clinics throughout Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. Additionally, he participated in the Pro Player Charity Classic exhibition game with proceeds benefiting a variety of charities including; the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, Ronald McDonald House, and the OI Foundation. In the past 2014 season, he averaged 19.1 minutes per game, 7.3 points per game, 5.2 rebounds per game, and a 54.4% shooting percentage. Jeremy currently resides in Salt Lake City with his beautiful wife, Korrie.
